As I went on twitter yesterday, I noticed a video. I first listen with no sound and then decided to turn on the sound. When I watched the video, my eyes begin to tear up and my heart starts to break. As I am watching, I let others know what is happening in the world. The continuous acts of what is happening to our black men and women. I could tweet and post pictures, but then I think to myself what more is there could I really do to make a difference in my community. Because still no one is being held accountable for their actions. They get a paid leave and we get another black man/woman dead. I am tired!!! So tired!!!
Honestly, all you can really do is pray for yourself when you exit your house and pray for those around you. And to thank God when you make it home safely. Continue to spread love. To say this will solve our problems, no, it will not happen overnight. I don't know what it takes, but I am praying really hard. There's a lot to be done, I keep telling myself there is no situation that God can not handle. I pray for our black men, for they go through so much and are a target. I ask God to be with every family that has experienced police brutality. I will continue to pray, love, and always allowing my light to shine. Peace, love, and light to you all.
